Pet Placement Center, Chattanooga's oldest no-kill animal shelter, celebrated 40 years as a non-profit organization last year!
Believe it or not, a lot of people still don't know our shelter exists. Please help us get the word out by participating in our Annual Raffle--one of our largest fundraisers since the late 1980s and the source of much of our financial support. We are excited to continue this tradition, which enables us to provide lifesaving procedures and medical treatments, spay and neuter, and daily care for each animal until they find a loving home.
Our commitment resulted in the successful placement of 234 dogs and cats last year. This year, we were able to help special animals like Gypsy, the Catahoula Leopard dog with cataracts that was abandoned by her owners at their apartment complex, Bridget, an 8 week old kitten that was tossed out on the Hwy 153 bridge and needed a leg amputation, and Nelson, a Terrier/Chihuahua mix that was rescued from a filthy hoarding situation in Murray County Georgia where there were more than 70 dogs living in a trailer. These are just a few of the many deserving animals we commit to giving happy lives--no matter how difficult their journeys.
Each raffle ticket costs only $1, and the drawing will be held at the shelter on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at 3 PM. You are invited to visit the animals and attend the drawing in person, but you do not need to be present to win. All winners will be contacted by phone or email to claim their prize.
Participation is easy. You can purchase tickets online, in person, or by phone. We accept cash, check, or debit/credit cards.
- To purchase your tickets by phone, simply call the facility at (423) 877-0738 anytime 12-5 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
- To purchase your tickets online, just follow the checkout section below. You can buy as many tickets as you want, and we'll do all the hard work of putting your contact information on each ticket.
- To purchase your tickets in person, you can stop by the shelter anytime 12-5 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
If you'd like to participate by selling tickets to your coworkers, friends, family, or neighbors, please call the facility at (423) 877-0738 to arrange a time to pick up a roll of tickets. The two people who sell the most tickets will also win a prize.
